Welcome 7th Graders!
We are glad you are here. This site contains everything you need to know to apply for a student leadership elective class at Kinard. We encourage you to check out each of our course offerings below prior to filling out an application.
Final Class Rosters
All class placements will be posted live on each of the websites listed below in the evening on February 16. Please begin by navigating to the class website that was your first choice, then also check your second/third choices if appropriate.
Leadership Classes
While there are a variety of ways to engage as an 8th-grade leader (ie. WEB, Give Next, NJHS, etc.), there are three leadership elective classes that involve a service-learning travel component. Below you can begin to explore each our student leadership travel electives. Due to the unique travel component and high interest in these three programs, students will be selected for these opportunities using a common application process. This means you can apply for any or all of these classes with a single application. We encourage you to check out each of the class pages and videos below prior to completing your application.
